Chicken Liver Pate
Ingredients: (for 6 people)
500 grams of chicken liver
50+50 gram of butter
1 onion, chopped
Salt, pepper
5 tablespoons of port wine
Thyme
Preparation
Heat 50 grams of butter in a pan; add the onion and the liver. Saute for 10 min.
Add salt; Pepper, Thyme and saute for more 2 min.
Remove from the stove and cool a little bit.
Grind with the other 50 grams of butter and port wine.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
Serve with bread or crackers.
